With the difficult 2020–21 academic year now behind us, most people in higher education are looking forward to the fall semester return of students to campus, the disappearance of face masks, and a population largely liberated from the fear of disease; hopefully, they are recharged by some summer down time as well. There is much speculation about the fiscal solvency of some of our institutions, the future of online education, and the number of students we can expect to attend.
